Registration
Participants can register and pay online. The Payment is
made at the same time as registration. Participants can also register in
writing using the registration form. The form can be returned to us by fax or
e-mail. Only registrations that have been completed in full and signed by the
participant will be accepted. Registrations cannot be made by telephone.
Closing date of registration
Saturday, 07 September 2013 at 12 a.m.
Registration fee
from 01 February 2013 until 29 June 2013: € 40.00
from 30 June 2013 to 31 August 2013: € 50.00
from 01 September 2013 until 07 September 2013: € 65.00
From 8 p.m. on 05 September 2013, participants can only register on-site.
Written and online registrations will no longer be accepted.
Timing Chip:
Participants get the chip together with the start number. There is no deposit
for the Chip. Should the chip not be returned the participant has to pay Euro
25,00.
Online registration with payment
The organiser requests that participants register online using one of the
various payment methods. Payment can be made by credit card, direct debit or
bank transfer. When registering online, participants can take out optional
cancellation insurance. With this insurance, the registration fee will be
refunded in the event of illness or accident.
Payment with registration by post or fax
Alternatively, payment from within Italy can be made by postal money order (ALV
Sextner Dolomiten, via Dolomiti 45, 39030 Sesto) or bank transfer. For
participants from other countries, we request payment by cheque, online or by bank

A copy of the payment confirmation slip must be sent to the organisers together
with the registration form!
Registration will only be valid after successful transfer/payment of the
registration fee. Please do not forget to indicate “Südtirol Drei Zinnen Alpine
Run registration fee" when making the transfer/payment, and to quote the
participant’s first and last names and date of birth to avoid any confusion.
Changes to registration/cancellation
Any changes must be made before 01 September 2013. Participants who have taken
out insurance (only possible with online registration) will be refunded the
registration fee. Participants who have not taken out insurance can submit a
medical certificate no later than 05 September 2013 and the registration fee
will then be carried forward to the following year.
Conditions for participation
Participants must be at least 18 years old on 07 September 2013 and meet one of
the following requirements:
• be Member of the Italian Athletic Federation FIDAL
• Member of a foreign athletics federation that is recognised by the IAAF

• Member of one of the following associations: ACSI, AICS, ASI, CNS
Libertas, CSAIN, CSEN, CSI, ENDAS, MSP Italia, UISP, US Acli, PGS
• italian amateur runners in possession of a valid sports medicine
certificate (in accordance with art. 5 - D.M. of 18.2.1982 that was issued
by a sports physician and valid on the day of the race. A copy of the
certificate must be sent to the organiser by fax +39 0474 710318 or e-mail
info@dreizinnenlauf.com. According to FIDAL rules, these runners must purchase
a one-day membership for the sum of € 7.00 on collection of the start number
and complete and sign the relevant form.
• Amateur runners who are not resident in Italy due to the statutory
requirements that apply in Italy for participation in races in Italy, amateur
runners who are resident abroad must also present a valid medical certificate

IMPORTANT
The run is limited to 1,000 participants! Registrations will be considered in
the order of receipt of payment. So it is worth registering online.
TEAM RACE
In addition to the individual categories, we also offer a team race
classification. Participation in this classification is free of charge. Teams
consist of a maximum of four and a minimum of three runners of the same
nationality, independent of category (women/men/juniors). The team time will be
calculated on the basis of the total times of the three fastest team members
from the individual categories, i.e. if there are four team members, the time
of one of the members will be disregarded.
The whole team can register at online registration. Alternatively, teams can be
registered at the race office by 7.00 p.m. on Saturday, 07 September 2013 and
by 8.30 a.m. on Sunday, 08 September 2013.
Liability & insurance
The organiser cannot be held responsible for any loss, injury or damage to
people or items, however caused. There shall be no liability for lost items.
The place of jurisdiction is Brunico/Bruneck, Italy. In the event of my
participation in the 16th Südtirol Drei Zinnen Alpine Run 2013, I shall
recognise the non-liability of the organiser for damages of any kind. I shall
not make claims for damage or injury of any kind against the organisers and
sponsors of the 16th Südtirol Drei Zinnen Alpine Run 2013, nor against the
relevant municipalities, landowners or their representatives. I agree that my
registration data, photos and film footage of myself, as well as interviews,
obtained in connection with the 16th Südtirol Drei Zinnen Alpine Run 2013 can
be used on the radio, on television, for advertising, in books, reprography,
films, etc. without claim for remuneration on my part. By registering, I accept
that my data may be passed on to third parties in accordance with the Italian
Data Protection Act no. 675/96.
Issuing of start numbers in Haus Sexten:
Saturday 07 September 2013: 10.00 to 12.00 a.m. and 2.00 to 7.00 p.m.
Sunday 08 September 2013: 7.00 to 8.30 a.m.
Transport of clothes to the finish
Transport of clothes to the finishing area; please hand in your clothes in the
start area on Sunday, 08 September 2013 from 07.30 to 09.00 a.m.

Course route
17.5 km long and altitude difference of 1.350 meters
Official finishing time
2.00 p.m.
Deadlines on the refreshment points: Fondo Valle 11.15 a.m., Comici 12.45 a.m.,
Pian di Cengia 1.30 p.m.
Runners who exceed the official finishing time limit will not be classified and
thus unable to claim any services (refreshments, first aid, check points,
timing, ranking lists, medals, finisher’s T-shirt and so on).
IMPORTANT
Return on foot as far as Hotel Dolomitenhof/Rifugio Piano Fiscalino; from
there, there will be shuttle buses running from 1.00 p.m.
The organiser has the right to move the race on an alternative track
(Sesto - Monte Elmo, 11,2 km and 750 hm) if the weather is bad or the
conditions are dangerous. So the race starts in any case.

Prices
The total sum of the prices for the 16th Südtirol Drei Zinnen Alpine Run
amounts at 5.000 Euro. Die best 8 men and the best 7 women from the overall
classification will be awarded. Every athlete crossing the finish line will
have a "Finisher-Medal".

Further Rules
Escort vehicles and sports equipment
Private escort vehicles (motor-driven or otherwise) and bicycle escorts or
suchlike are not permitted. Participation in the Südtirol Drei Zinnen Alpine
Run using aids or sports equipment (particularly poles) is not permitted and
will result in disqualification.
Disqualification
Fairness at the Südtirol Drei Zinnen Alpine Run! Unsporting behaviour (e.g.
failing to pass through checkpoints and time-monitoring points, shortcuts,
escorts, ignoring official instructions, doping) and by providing incorrect
personal data (name, age) will result in disqualification. It is also forbidden
to pass a personal start number on to another person without complying with the
official transfer procedure. Objections must be made in writing and handed to
the OC by 1 hour after the official closing of the finish.
